A brand built to regenerate.
Urban and rural design practice, Planit, were going through big, exciting changes – they’d become an EOT, launched a bespoke research studio in the Cotswolds, and secured B Corp status. It was the right time for a bold brand shift – one that reaffirmed their place in the industry and reflected their ambition to lead in regenerative architectural thinking.
Central to Planit’s ambition was the desire to lead the industry in ‘regenerative place design’ – places that enhance their surroundings rather than harm them.
We captured a lot in workshops and conversations: Sketches were drawn, questions were answered and even hikes were undertaken. We translated what we heard into a brand idea about the passage of time: we design for the living world. For today, tomorrow and the next 200 years.
It was fitting to build Planit’s identity as a dynamic, regenerative, living system, delivered in a bespoke typeface – so that clients would recognise Planit instantly, wherever they saw them, just by seeing the words they write.
Planit needed a website that could clearly tell their story well. We built smart systems behind the scenes to let the regenerating identity shift as visitors spent time on pages. It all happened automatically – no effort needed, the technology took care of it.
