Saxton Identity
Urban Splash is the renowned regeneration company behind some of the most exciting developments in the country. They've just launched their first development in Leeds - Saxton –and we helped them do it.
Selling 410 apartments in two revived city centre council blocks is no mean feat but Splash always have something different to sell, and in this case it’s allotments and the biggest private garden in the city.
Logotype
A green retreat in the city proved plenty of inspiration for the Saxton logo - crafted from leaves with a seasonal colour palette.
Marketing Suite
We had great fun designing this mobile marketing suite: a shed complete with oversized Urban Splash blue vegetables, gnomes, plants and picket fencing. It pitched up in the middle of Leeds, confused the shoppers, sold some flats and attracted that all important press attention.
Pre-launch Flyer
Splash wanted a flyer to announce their imminent arrival in Leeds. We sweated long and hard to produce this innovative shed fold which works a treat.
Bluetooth Gnomes
These bluetooth gnomes, designed and produced by Magnetic North, helped spread the word about the development.
Beermats
We used the gnomes on all the marketing materials including these dinky beer mats.
Outdoor Media
Outdoor advertising scaled from the large to the massive. We don’t get to do 85ft banners everyday! All designed to get folk registering an interest on the Saxton website and push the Splash message with maximum impact.
Posters and Banners
Brochure
We had a few all nighters producing this sales brochure. 128 pages in two connected books, using scented paper, throw out pages, laminated board, magnets, foil blocking, screenprinting, clothbound slipcase, 2 copy writers, 4 photographers, a fine Italian printer and a gnome!
Seed tickets
Just in case the new residents of Saxton couldn’t wait to get there fingers green. We designed an eco-friendly reserve ticket made from specially comissioned paper that has seeds embedded within it. After a hard days queing to buy the sort after apartments, simply plant the bio-degradable ticket into the ground and watch the flowers grow!
Earth Records
We've got our fingers dirty before. 14 years ago, Pete used to co-run a record label and this was the flyer for the launch event – Beneath The Earth, dispensed in plant pots.
