Now this year’s big freeze is over let’s talk about Melt:ed, short Melt Education, little brother to Melt, a company that helps business develop innovative content for new and emerging media platforms. The Melt:ed scheme is all about encouraging 14-19 year olds with bright ideas for online media content and apps to explore and exploit those ideas through the curriculum and with the help of industry professionals. We were asked by the Culture Company to create a brand identity, campaign theme ‘unfreeze your brain’ and supporting messages for Melt:ed working in collaboration with e-learning specialists Desq. The marque, a frozen brain, inside a frozen head, inside a block of ice, illustrates the campaign message and ties in with the Melt name, and refers to the pictographic style of science and technology exercise books.
