Clever business card

A friend of ours, Pat from Dust (who are also our neighbours), once said that we were ‘the best business card designers in the world’. Well we’ve just got these ones back from the printers which we thought were pretty good too. They’re for a Landscape gardening and maintenance company, Pople Landscapes and Shed Grounds Maintenance. The simple idea being when you read Pople you see a plant tag and when you flip it and read Shed you see… well, a shed.

The Old Post Office

The Old Post Office is a gastro pub that’s housed in… you guessed it… an old post office. So when we were asked to design a logo for them, we thought we’d reflect this pretty unique characteristic. With a few added splashes and some carefully arranged peas, we created a logo with a food and drink twist.

Bagdad Magazine

One of the places we like to visit in Sheffield is a little pub called The Shakespeare, so when a friend of ours (Jim) told us he wanted to create a magazine about the place, we were naturally happy to help out. The magazine was called Bagdad.

Screen Yorkshire Annual Report

In 2007 we produced Screen Yorkshire’s Annual Report, then last year we were asked to do it again. So this time we came up with the idea of giving the report some geographical context – something that Screen Yorkshire hadn’t really done before with their yearly report. We produced a map of Yorkshire and placed the projects they’d been involved with in their relevant locations, so next time you’re taking a walk by the beach in Cleethorpes you can say, ‘oh look, here’s where they filmed This is England.’
